Help Safeguard our Climate
The Federal Government has just released proposed details for Australia's climate policy to regulate big polluters like Woodside, Chevron, and Ampol – and it needs to be much stronger.
We still have a chance to shape this crucial policy before it becomes law. You can tell your MP that you want them to fight for a fair climate policy, without loopholes that let big polluters off the hook while they trash our climate.

Woodside’s fingerprints are all over the current weak proposal, which allows coal and gas companies unlimited access to dodgy carbon offsets so they can greenwash their emissions. So it’s crucial that thousands of us speak up right now to ensure we get the climate policy Australians need.
We need a much stronger Safeguard Mechanism policy that requires new entrants to have net zero emissions from day one, heavily restricts the use of offsets and ensures that Australian taxpayers do not have to subsidise coal and gas companies to reduce their emissions. Coal and gas companies got us into this mess, Australians should not pay to bail them out of it.
Join the movement of Australians across the country who are sending a clear message to our politicians that it’s time to stop giving gas companies like Woodside an easy ride, while the rest of us deal with rising energy bills and worsening floods, fires, and droughts.
